Nethercutt Museum – Paradise For The Ultimate Car Fanatic

What we gonna do right here is go back. Way back. Back into time… to the Nethercutt Museum, an attractive venue in Sylmar, California. It looks somewhat like a modest warehouse on the outside; however, when you step inside, you’ll be surprised to see a collection of beautifully well-maintained classic cars and antique musical instruments all lined up nicely for your viewing pleasure.

Visitors like myself have come to enjoy some of their FREE activities, but if you’d like to pay, they will certainly take your donations and give you that special VIP treatment because… you ballin’. So get out your best walking shoes and start your adventure.

Things You Can Do at the Nethercutt Museum:

  1. Admire 130 uniquely styled classic cars. In fact, some are the rarest and most expensive automobiles ever built. You can take a self-guided tour of the museum and learn about the history of each car.
  2. Appreciate the craftsmanship of old intricate pianos, organs, and other instruments from the 19th and 20th centuries. You might even be able to catch a live music performance during special events.
  3. Visit the restoration shop so you can watch first-hand how skilled technicians restore and repair these classic cars.
  4. Attend scheduled car shows, concerts, and lectures throughout the year.
  5. Tour briefly inside the 1937 Canadian Pacific Royal Hudson Locomotive and the 1912 Pullman private car. Make sure to arrive a few minutes early and allow 15 minutes for the walk through. This only occurs on Thursday through Saturday from 12:30PM and 3:45PM.

Address:

In summary, The Nethercutt Museum is a must-visit destination for car enthusiasts, music lovers, and history buffs. Take your loved ones (especially your dad & grandpa) so they can reminisce on the good times during their stay. It was a pleasant experience for me and I hope it will be for you too.
