LA Auto Show Cars Will Make Your Jaws Drop Immediately

Every year, one of the world’s largest auto shows happens at the LA Convention Center in Downtown. This is the place for people of all ages to go to — whether you’re looking for a new car and need to compare before you make a big purchase, or you’re a car fanatic who loves to marvel at the artistic and technical specs, or just looking for something to do with your friends and family, it’s an exciting event that will provide a good time for a couple of hours.

Parking is abundant adjacent to the entrance and surrounding blocks. However, the closer the parking structure is, the more expensive, of course.

Non-reserved parking: South Hall, West Hall, and Venice Garage.

  • South Hall parking ($25) is off Venice Blvd., west of Figueroa Street.
  • West Hall parking structure ($25) off LA Live Way, between 11th St. and Pico Blvd.
  • The Venice Garage ($20) off Venice Blvd., West of Figueroa Street

For LA Live Parking, just across the street of Chick Hearn Court from the Los Angeles Convention Center, is available in Lot W (enter on Georgia St., turn on West Road) and Lot E (East Garage off of Olympic). L.A. Live parking prices vary, so click here for updates.

At the LA Auto Show, you’ll find competitive brands such as Toyota, Audi, Porsche, Honda, and many others displaying their newest model cars, trucks, SUVs, and electric vehicles. When I went, I enjoyed the fact that I didn’t feel any sales pressure. It was more like entering a museum with some companies providing complimentary gifts and activities.

In the previous years when I was there, I was able to take part in free test drives. Many of them were fun to do and somewhat felt like a carefree DMV driving test in a luxury vehicle. Most likely, you’ll be rewarded with a gift card, hat, bag, or some other giveaway after you’re done. I definitely recommend this if you like to kill time and earn some freebees.

My other favorite part about the LA Auto Show is checking the future, classic, and exotic cars. There’s always something for everyone and I hope you’ll get the chance to check it out someday. Get tickets here if you want to plan your trip in advance. Thanks for reading and let me know how your experiences goes!
