I’ve been on the hunt for the best French restaurants and I happened to stumble upon Little French Bakery in Redondo Beach, California on a Sunday afternoon. It is widely known within the South Bay community, but still a hidden gem for most people coming from other places. There was a line outside for people to wait and order, but it wasn’t long at all. 5 minutes tops. Because COVID restrictions are still in place, one person or group would be allowed inside the shop.
My friend and I got the Parisian and Smoked Salmon Lover French baguette sandwiches, an Apricot Pistachio Almond Tart, and a loaf of organic sourdough bread. Everything listed was $12 and under.
The sandwiches were savory and the bread was soft and lightly crispy. The pastry was not overly sweet, but very balanced in flavor. It was absolutely delicious and the perfect dessert. They also provide gelato and crepes and I will have to go try those on my next visit.
Everything we took a bite out of was BOMB and I highly recommend going there at least once.

The History of Little French Bakery
It was established in 2020, so pretty recently. The bakery is family owned and run by French born Chef, Guillaume Sabbadin and wife Debora Sabbadin. They’ve been in the food business for over 20 years and have decided to provide authentic French pastries, patisserie, gourmet sandwiches and crepes.
If you’re looking for a classic French experience, be sure to check this place out. Since outdoor seating was limited, we opted to eat at Redondo Beach which is easily walkable and only a couple of blocks away. It’s a perfect weekend date with your friends, family, and partner.

That makes the 2 of us. I just love these pastries. They look so goood.
You have to try the other flavors too. The blueberry tart is next up on my list!
